Central Asia Institute is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization with the mission to promote and support community-based education, especially for girls, in remote regions of northern Pakistan and Afghanistan.


GCAP Pakistan


Pennies For Peace is a program of the Central Asia Institute. It is designed to help students broaden their cultural horizons and learn about their capacities as philanthropists. It educates students about the world beyond their experience and shows them that they can make a positive impact on a global scale, one penny at a time. Students learn the rewards of sharing and working together to bring hope and education opportunities to the children in Pakistan and Afghanistan.

Kashf Foundation’s mission is to alleviate poverty by providing quality and cost effective microfinance services to low income households, especially women, in order to enhance their economic role and decision-making capacity. It was the first specialized Microfinance institution in Pakistan, it was the first Microfinance institution targeting only women from low income communities and in 2003 it was the first Microfinance institution to become financially sustainable.

Sustainable Pakistan


Triple Bottom Lineis a specialised CSR journal in Pakistan. TBL is a sustainability platform, which is working with a mission to pioneer the dissemination of specialized CSR knowledge in Pakistan and be a platform for informed discussion internationally, with the goal of facilitating the creation of a more entrenched sustainability culture in our world. It also has a range of activities such as stakeholder engagement, sustainability report writing, trainings, seminars and conferences to advance its mission and vision.
