SG Music Initiatives

Association for Music Therapy, Singapore seeks to increase public awareness of Music Therapy in Singapore and serve as an organizational agency for locally-based Music Therapists. Music Therapy is the use of music and musical activities by a qualified Music Therapist in a process designed to meet individualized physical, emotional, social and cognitive needs, within the context of a therapeutic relationship.

Cityscapes is a collaboration by Perspektif and the Singapore Association of the Visually Handicapped, in conjunction with Singapore Design Festival 2009. Bringing together a diverse representation of creatives, this edition combines sound aesthetics with culture, creating an intellectual and emotional connection, inspiring exchange and dialogue.

Go Green is a collaborative project between NEA and Warner Music Singapore, a special compilation album featuring songs that promote environmental consciousness.

OOOMis Singapore’s first social open mike. Its people-and-planet-centric programming encourages community bonding and environmentalism through music. OOOM provides casual and fun settings for anyone to make music, regardless of skill. It is also a platform for celebrating creativity and enjoying the arts.
