The ISO 140001 family addresses "Environmental management", through minimizing harmful effects on the environment caused by its activities, and achieving continual improvement of its environmental performance.

SG Networks & Associations

The Singapore Green Business Alliance is composed of members who at least have a valid ISO14001 certificate in its manufacturing operations in Singapore. In addition, they must satisfy in detail at least one of the following:
  • Valid Green Office Label certification
  • Innovative environment improvement to existing product design
  • New product development focusing on environmental friendly solutions
  • Green procurement policies for all supplier management and purchasing transactions
  • Environmentally improved manufacturing and progression (either Design for environment or Singapore GreenLabel endorsement
  • Customer interaction and education as part of public relations training
  • Post-use management and disposal of the product through eco-friendly means
  • Investment in community (non-company) environmental issues
  • Environmental reporting, disclosure and communications
  • Be a recipient or merit winner of one of either the ACCA Environmental Reporting Award or Singapore Green Plan 2012 Award

Cleantech Happy Hour is a relaxed get-together of the Green and Clean community of Singapore. It usually happens every first Wednesday of the month, from 7-9.30pm. Join their Facebook group.

Green Drinks Singapore is an informal place for environmentalists to discuss sustainable living and related issues over drinks. These monthly sessions fall on the last Thursday of every month from 8-10pm. Join their Facebook group.
