This is a guide to all things at the intersection of fundraising, grant-seeking and philanthropy in Singapore. Feel free to edit if you’d like to improve it!

Overview

Fundraising is one of the most active areas for NPOs and VWOs in Singapore. With few charities getting secured funding for overheads or being the recipient of generous endowments, organising fundraising events and grantwriting becomes essential, with 2-3 events being held every week.

As a result, there is a vibrant ecosystem to support this work, including fundraising intermediaries to address various segments of the fundraising spectrum. Broadly speaking, there are 3 types of foundations in Singapore - corporate, family and private - and a listing below provides more information.

Funding and Resources for Non-Profit Initiatives in Singapore is a site aims to serve as a repository of the various grants and funding schemes available to individuals or organisations starting or actively engaged in charitable initiatives.
